Our Bath stone fronted house was painted by a previous owner and the paint was in a poor state. Thanks to Martyn’s knowledge and skill it is now fully restored to its former glory. He dressed the stone, removing the top layer, and with it the failing paint job, and raked it back to a smooth finish. He also carried out a number of repairs to the stonework that blend in beautifully. He gave us lots of good advice and was very accommodating when we had to postpone due to covid and work commitments and left everything clean and tidy at the end of each day, and at the end of the job. It would probably have been cheaper and quicker to get the house repainted, or to have the paint steamed or sandblasted off, but I am so glad we decided to get the job done properly. I would have no hesitation in recommending Martyn to anyone who values the work of a real craftsman.
